An international logo concept I created for a Networking Trade Convention between the US and Canada. Researching logos for similar events, they are usually geometric logos that feature the flags next to one another. However I wanted to convey the feeling of those that would be attending - inter mingling and while being professional, networking in a open casual way. So I wanted to do something that was free-flowing. Ropes are tools used to attach and connect an object to another. Relationships are a sort of rope. Of course knots allows this to happen, and the intermeshing was perfect for representing the building of bonds and the meshing of hands in a good handshake.
